Short answer
Choose a clean print view and check the print preview, then export and inspect the PDF you will send. Hiding revision marks changes what you see; it does not remove revisions from the editable file. If the document must be finalised, its owner should review the changes and comments before preparing the print copy.
Do you need a clean printout or a finalised Word file?
Decide whether you need a clean reading copy or a document whose revisions are actually resolved.
Accepting or rejecting changes changes the document; it is not just a print setting.
How do you hide markup for printing?
Inspect Word's print settings and clear markup from the output when you want a clean copy.
Then check the actual preview. The editor display alone is not enough.
What happens to comments and changes in the source file?
They remain unless someone resolves or removes them. Hiding markup does not erase the underlying revision history.
Keep separate filenames for clean reading copies and marked-up review copies.
What should you send to the print order?
Send the checked PDF with a version name that identifies the approved reading copy.
If you need both clean and marked-up copies, describe the quantities for each version clearly.
